Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Game of Thones actor Michiel Huisman are starring in the film that former Veep director and executive producer Stephanie Laing is helming. The story follows Abbie and Sam, who were soulmates since the age of 8 and were destined to be together forever until death got in the way.
Bess Wohl wrote the script, and Jonathan Tropper and Farah Abushwesha are producing the pic. The Exchange is handling international sales. The project is currently filming in New York.
Walken’s recent credits include Eddie the Eagle with Hugh Jackman, and he voiced a character in Jon Favreau’s hit The Jungle Book. He also appears in the upcoming comedy The War With Grandpa with Robert De Niro. Walken is repped by ICM Partners.
Coogan will soon be seen in Ideal Home with Paul Rudd and in Oren Moverman’s The Dinner with Richard Gere. His other upcoming projects include The Trip to Spain, Stan and Ollie with John C. Reilly and voice work in Despicable Me 3. Coogan is repped by CAA and Independent Talent Group in the U.K.
