The Exchange, the company behind the films Dear White People and Obvious Child, has made a couple of changes in its executive ranks. It has hired Caddy Vanasirikul to handle acquisitions and promoted its distribution head Nathaniel McCormick to the position of Executive VP Worldwide Distribution. McCormick reports to company founder and CEO Brian O’Shea and co-leads the worldwide distribution efforts for the company’s roster of films.

Vanasirikul interned for the company after graduating with honors from UCLA with a Producers Program MFA, and McCormick has been at The Exchange for three years. “Nat is part of the DNA of the company,” said O’Shea. “He has been and will continue to be instrumental in the success of the Exchange.”

Prior to the Exchange, McCormick served as Director of International Sales and Operations at IM Global and Director, International Sales and Acquisitions for Affinity International.
